Bench and dumbbells.

With basic equipment and organized routines, JodyTucker's client:

  1. reduces body fat,
  2. tones, builds and strengthens muscle,
  3. increases cardiovascular endurance,
  4. improves flexibility,
  5. counters aging,
  6. evolves mentally, and
  7. exudes discipline and confidence.

Fitness Assessment

Assessment

Safe, serious and responsible training starts with the fitness assessment, which starts at $270, and includes retrieval of the client's:

  1. medical history,
  2. physician clearance,
  3. informed consent and
  4. liability waiver.

The fitness assessment measures and documents:

  1. resting heart rate,
  2. blood pressure,
  3. body-fat composition,
  4. anatomical circumferences,
  5. target heart rate,
  6. cardio-respiratory fitness,
  7. muscular strength,
  8. muscular endurance,
  9. flexibility and
  10. posture.

Ultimately, the fitness assessment:

  1. indicates the client’s health status,
  2. determines the client’s training recommendations,
  3. gauges the client’s progress,
  4. educates the client and
  5. demonstrates professionalism.

The fitness assessment establishes a baseline for the fitness training.

Fitness Training

Bar

After the fitness assessment comes the fitness training. The training proceeds in a proper community fitness center or home gym. The training personally accommodates one client — or up to three clients at a time, who may split the hourly fee.

The fitness training starts at $90 hourly. JodyTucker thoroughly trains the client to become "independent" with three one-hour master trainings — and with one maintenance hour every two or three months, if required.

For the client requiring ongoing weekly fitness training, a discounted hourly fee may apply, and depends on clientele demand.

Workouts are effective, educational and documented. Sets, reps and miles are noted. Progress is measured. — JodyTucker's client experiences professional and exceptional fitness training management — with administrative, communicative and informational excellence.

Barbells

Barbell

Barbells force arms to move synchronously.

Dumbbells

Dumbbell

Dumbbells are the most versatile exercise equipment, as they allow the most exercises, at the maximum range-of-motion. Dumbbells force the arms to move synchronously and separately — with balance, coordination and control. Generally, dumbbell workouts are the best workouts.

PowerBlock

PowerBlock dumbbells compact a full range of weight increments into one space-saving set. Therefore, JodyTucker recommends them — especially for home gyms.

Machines

Machine

Machines allow consistent weight resistance throughout the full range-of-motion.

Calisthenics

Calisthenics

Calisthenics are bodyweight exercises, requiring minimal or no equipment.

The Senior

Protein

Gentle exercise helps the senior client maintain physical and mental health, strength and independence. Gentle exercise improves the senior client's mood and mobility, and reduces the client's chances of falling. Gentle exercise makes daily life easier and more enjoyable for the senior client.

Supplementation

Protein

Protein facilitates muscle repair, recovery, growth and strength. Before and after physical fitness training, JodyTucker recommends a high-quality protein serving.

Protein

The "unflavored" version of Isopure whey-protein powder is void of fat, carbohydrates, lactose, artificial flavors, sweeteners and other additives. — Considering this purity, unflavored Isopure protein is ideal, as it easily dissolves into beverages and foods.

Muscles

Muscles

Depending on the client’s personal goals and fitness assessment, JodyTucker's fitness training targets some or "all" muscles:

  1. Sternocleidomastoid
  2. Trapezius
  3. Pectoralis
  4. Latissimus Dorsi
  5. Rectus Abdominis, External Oblique
  6. Erector Spinae
  7. Deltoid
  8. Biceps
  9. Triceps
  10. Flexor Digitorum Superficialis, Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus (Forearms)
  11. Gluteus Maximus
  12. Adductor Magnus
  13. Vastus Lateralis, Vastus Intermedius, Vastus Medialis, Rectus Femoris (Quadriceps)
  14. Biceps Femoris, Semitendinosus (Hamstrings)
  15. Gastrocmenius, Soleus, Tibialis Anterior (Calves)
  16. Heart

Post-Rehabilitation

After the client's release from formal physical therapy, JodyTucker helps the client safely continue with "post-rehabilitation" training — facilitating a gradual return to basic and advanced physical activities.

Biceps: Single-Arm Curl (Elbow Flexion): Dumbbell

Arm Curl, JodyTucker, 2006

"In the beginning, before workouts are about 'health,' they're more about 'vanity': We arrogantly want to be as muscular and as strong as comicbook heroes. It's an adventurous and educational chapter in our gym lives.

In my vanity days, the single-arm dumbbell curl was my favorite Biceps exercise — because I was particularly strong with it. In my prime, at a bodyweight of 160 pounds, I was rocking 90 pounds, for three sets of six repetitions, under five minutes. — The year-2006 photo captures my typical 80-pound workout.

For my average client, I recommend a light weight on the single-arm dumbbell curl, with 12 to 15 repetitions. This approach produces beautiful Biceps results." — JodyTucker
